Autumn fruits are another great reason why we absolutely love this season!
Today we are preparing delicious apple pancakes for our little ones. You and your kids can enjoy them for breakfast, snack and even dinner. They are perfect for lunch boxes and they are excellent for any time of the day. Let’s start!
What you will need for 4 servings are the following ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 cup of shredded apple
- 1 & 1/4 cups of flour
- 1 & 1/4 teaspoons of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Preparation is easy
Take 2 bigger bowls.
Inside of one bowl, put milk, apple, butter and egg. Inside of another bowl, stir cinnamon, sugar, flour and baking soda. Combine the mixtures of both bowls together and stir until you get a batter.
In the meantime, put oil into your frying pan and heat it. For each pancake, pour 1/4 of a cup onto the frying pan and fry them on both sides until you get a brown color.
Serving them hot and cold
Your pancakes are perfect when they are hot, but also cold. If you are having them for breakfast, serve them hot with your favorite syrup and an add a pinch of vanilla sugar on top.
If you decide to put the pancakes into your child’s lunch box, leave them to cool, put your child’s favorite spread all over each pancake, roll them and place them in a tin foil.
