Giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year has officially begun! And we have been busy preparing a variety of interesting activities for your Thanksgiving. From reading beautiful, thankful stories, to preparing decorations and family games, Lipa has played its part in this special holiday.
In case you missed some of our ideas, tips and advices, here they are all together. Hope you’ll enjoy them all.
Thanksgiving fun times
There are 2 fun activities you can do before and during your Thanksgiving day. One of them is learning about appreciation with a thankful jar which can be of great fun during your family gatherings on Thursday. Another one, which is great for both playing, learning and decorating your home, is the Thanksgiving fingerprint activity we did a few days ago.
Our Thanksgiving color is orange! We have prepared some decoration ideas for your table as well as a nice fragrance to delight your guests, and a printable greeting card you can prepare for every member of your family.
This year, we’ve decided to try something new for our Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed cooking with our little ones and have prepared 2 flavorful salads you have never tried before. Check their amazing colors and have fun preparing them with your kids. Both salads are full of vitamins, so feel free to use them for the upcoming Christmas, too.
Thanksgiving stories for kids
Our love of reading couldn’t have passed by all these amazing books. We have chosen 2 for your Thanksgiving week. In case you missed them, here they are again: A lovely Gobble, Gobble by Cathryn Falwell, about a girl discovering wild turkeys in her neighborhood, and the sweet Thankful Book by Todd Parr, about so many beautiful things in our lives that we and our kids can be thankful for.
